Best things to do in the Georgian Bay, Ontario
Visit Parry Sound, Ontario
Though the Georgian Bay is full of places to visit, one of our favorite spots is Parry Sound, Ontario. This quaint town is surrounded by nature, to the extent that it's even considered a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. There are miles of hiking trails to be found, along with a range of watersports. If you're in the mood for a more urban setting, you can head into town to explore multiple museums, shop, or eat.
Explore on Manitoulin Island
Located on the east coast of the Georgian Bay, Manitoulin Island is a large, mostly natural space with lots to offer. Most cruises dock at Little Current on the island, a unique settlement with a great Downtown area. Alternatively, you can go and explore the island's many parks and lakes. Regardless of how you spend your time on the Georgian Bay's Manitoulin Island, you're sure to have something enjoyable to do.
